METAL DETECTION NOW AVAILABLE FROM LEADING CLIPPER MANUFACTURER
Food processing and ingredients specialist Interfood Technology is offering metal detection as an option on its most popular high volume Poly-clip System ICA slicing log clipper. The company has supplied the ICA clipper to all the major processors throughout the UK and Ireland as the exclusive distributor of the Poly-clip range of chub and bag closing technology.
Poly-clip system is a leading name in clipping technology and decided to introduce their own metal detection system to complement their ICA clipping system. The highly sensitive, stainless steel in-line metal detector complies with all the latest food safety requirements, including IFS and HACCP. Full control is provided from the ICA’s integrated Easy Touch Display unit with functions such as automatic teach-in of new products, manual entry of detection parameters and the storage and recall of product programmes.
The detector also includes an integrated dump valve with collection container - if any metal particle is detected, the rejected product passes into the container or, if for hygiene purposes, can be presented to the operator in a clipped log.
